In the education component, we provide comprehensive training in marine science to postgraduate students of Colombia, Germany and other countries. The CEMarin training program addresses issues in marine science and brings together new researchers with internationally renowned scientists. The courses are taught by experts from Colombia, Germany, the United States, Canada and other countries, who are internationally renowned in their fields of research.
We hold keynote lectures and seminars that are broadcast live and are available for your viewing.

International Thematic Workshops The thematic workshops address emerging fields of particular interest for marine scientists. They are taught by international scientists and last approximately 6 to 8 days. Students from other universities can also participate.
International Field Schools
International field schools are held in Colombia, Germany and other countries and address theoretical and applied problems of marine science. They are run by international scientists and carry out field work, keynote lectures and debates. Students from other universities can also participate in the field schools.
Support of the Colombian Inter-Institutional Doctoral Program in Marine Science
We support this program by teaching courses and facilitating access to international conferences.
